Should I be trimming off some of the leaves on my Autoflower??

hey @Cheryl L Schaefer and :welcome: to afn! :toke: how old is she-? i meself am a fan of defol, but some are not  either way, the general rule of thumb is that u don't want any leavez blocking light to new growth...but lotza timez, simple tucking will do the trick ;) and trimmin a few random leavez from the lower levelz would be ok, so as to give good airflow...jus me own 2 ctz & take with salt plz

ppp & :goodluck:

I don't defoliate unless the leaves are yellow and come off with a very light tug. I don't do much to my autos in general.

nothing wrong with a bit defoliation, it can be very beatifically when done right and can increase your top shelf bud with better light penetration...

I would get rid of those large fan leaves blocking the light to the center of the plants and any leaves fully covering bud sites.... Your not going to affect the plant by taking just few leaves at a time... it's when you do a full leaf strip that things may effect a plant (strain dependent as the old saying go's)... If you worried just take few leaves each day until you are happy

I always defoliate the bottom section to free up airflow.
I also remove all fan leaves that are turned towards the inside of the plant.
When she goes into flower try to defoliate over a period of days and not all at once to reduce shock.
