I tested my water after letting it sit for 48 hours and it was at 8.1. My water straight from the tap was at 7.5. I then tested my nutrient solution at that came back at 7.3. After giving it to my plants the runoff was at 6.6. Why is it i see people ph'ing down to 6.5 before feeding there plants??

because 6.5 is the optimal range for nutrient uptake in soil. 6.5 in and 6.5 out is best:thumbs:
