My rhino Ryder has been stuck now for about 3 weeks Its 44" tall. Buds are just a beginning of development. I switched to 12 12 today to try to get it to start. I had to wait until my other plants finished up. My question is if 12 12 does restart growth, can I switch it back to 20 on and 4 off to finish or will it stall again. I'm using a 315cmh 3000k, roots organic soil, flora nova bloom and crystal burst. Here's a pic if that helps. Thanks

Hi @Mac81, l would'nt be switching to 12/12 she is already in flower your just going to deprive her of light. The slow growth could be genetic, she looks sativa heavy and could be just taking her sweat time. When I have grown sativa heavy autos all have gone way past the recommended time.

Thank you, Ill go ahead and switch it back to 20 and 4. They all started flowering around the same time give or take a week. All the other ones have fully formed buds and I couldn't figure out why that one seemed to stop. I've never grown a mostly sativa plant just indica doms. That eases my mind.

As Slater posted. I feel that 12/12 debilitates an autoflower. Those pics show what looks like a lot of buds forming, so 12/12 would would in effect, be a step backwards. You never know, it might be a mighty finisher.

How much longer do you think it will take? Fastbuds says 9 weeks Its been 70 days.

I agree with @Slater but I also think you have some foxtailing going on from having the light too close. Move it up if you can or super crop those girls. I think they will plump up. As far as how long to go - only the plant knows that.

I have the light as high as I can get it. I had to quite using the pulleys and zip strip the light to the top bar. Ill go ahead and supercrop it. Will the foxtail continue to form since it started or will it stop once moved further from the light. Thanks for the advice.

If you get the light far enough away it will stop foxtailing but foxtails don't usually have time to plump up before the rest of the cola is ripe. Keep an eye on the trichomes about midway down the colas and harvest when they show the ripeness you prefer.
