What i thought was over N feeding ( still could be? ) still hasn't cleared up after 2-3 weeks now.

this happened right after i changed N feed from a 8 % to 10.6 %.

after feeding plain water and now on bloom foods the leaves around all the buds pretty much are sticking upwards, some down and i'm not sure weather its effecting my yeild or what. all fan leaves are fine.

i looked up that plants can do this when temps are too low, my tent stays around 20-22 c all day and would drop as low as 14-15 c at lights off.

What kind of watering schedule are you on?

What kind of watering schedule are you on?

i water every 4 - 5 days with 6.7 ph water, they drinking just over 4 litres betweeen them now..

the soil i have has 25% more water absorbtian, hense why i'm leaving it that long in between waters, should i maybe let them go even longer and let them dry out completley?

6.7 is a hair high....

in your pic I can see the edges and tips of the leaves showing a slight defficiency of flower nutes.... multiple watering os high ph might be accumlatng in the soil..... also... 4-5 days means your soil is holding a lot of water and could be causing overwating a bit.... can you post a few more pics? do you have a soil ph meter?

No,don't let them dry out completely, just when the top two to three inches is dry.You can also tell by the weight of the pot ,if its real lite it needs water,if its still heavy hold back awhile. You can't go by days for watering because if it happens to be humid they wont dry out as fast .

good point namvet... also temps (like colder you have) slow water usage drastically..... the best method is stick your finger into the second knuckle... if its moist... dont water... if the tip of your finger feels mostly dry... time to water. :toke:

thank you bro! so by the look of that chart i wanna be somewhere between 6.0 and 6.5 ?

I'm now noticing on this plant where the leaves around the buds are cringing the top cola in particular, flowers arn't fattening up much. saying that the buds on this plant are airy and not very compact anyway.

i tested my water with a ph meter i had from work, i don't own one. but to be honest i'v never had any crop threatening damages by ph, as it is near enough neutral.

i let the water sit in bottles for around 24 hours before lidding it up, so i would like to test it after that 24 hours. for my next order of materials a ph meter is deffo on my list.

the other AKR i have is doing fine...

yeah 6.3 - 6.5 is ideal in soil.... 6.8 starts to show flower nute lockouts.... definetly need at least a ph water meter.... a soil meter is nice to have as well ... :toke:

Ok mate thanks. so would you say the reason for the bud leaves playing up is because of this water retention and the dirt not drying out enough?

also the temp and humidity being low won't be helping it dry out either so maybe i'l let it go longer than i have been doing,

oh low humidity will cause that leaf thing.... sounds like a few issues to suss out mate...

no worries... we'll get ya on track... :smokeit:
