Hello so its week 3 for my girls and im seeing things that are odd looking. Im growing in roots 707. My feeding has only been ro water with nothing added. My run off is 6.4 and the waters ph ive been giving is ranging from 6.0-6.8. I’m not sure when to feed or what to feed ect ect. I have the foxfarm trio and Mr.Mucha-Stash calcium and magnesium supplement but have not used any of this. My run off also tested at 1300 ppm

Problem is worsening and I don’t know if it due to lack of food

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics! Turn off the grow lights.

Something to start with. RO is not something you can use to water by itself. On days with no feed, mix with tap. I mix till I'm at about 100ppm. Seems RO causes nutrient uptake issues when used alone.

Problem: seeing discoloration in the leaves starts out brown then yellowish brown/ golden tips of newly grown leaves are looking weirdly colored

Medium/grow method: soil roots 707

Feed: and supplements used: none

water source: ro

PH in the root zone: 6.4

Strain/age: six shooter , sour stomper 5 weeks

light used: fluence spydr 2i 47”

Climate: 68 night - 78 day 68rh

Additional info:
This is my first grow and have no knowledge on feeding or when to feed also the ppm runoff tested at 1300

Yes, if you have not started feeding yet it is time to start feeding your plants. I would personally start with 1/4 dose of cal-mag followed by 3.75ml of big bloom, & 2.5ml of grow big pH’ed’ to 6.3-6.5.

Welp at least I know now I’m week 3 I can give them nutrients b4 the problems happen

week 5 now and I think I let them go a little to long
