Need advise. WWYD

Hey everyone I’m wanting to get a setup put together and it’s been awhile so I’m wondering what y’all would pick if you had to choose.
A 2x4 tent with the MarsHydro sp250 or
A 3x3 tent with 2 of the MarsHydro sp150?
Haven’t bought anything yet so any and all ideas are welcome but I prefer to not have to put any lights together when I get them. I’m more of the plug and go type as of right now lol

I have one 3 x 3 and two 2 x 4 ft tents.
I've grown 4 plants in the 3 x 3, but that's too many, and I'll do only 2 in the future.
My hydro autos get huge, and I can't easily reach the back of the 3 x 3.

The 3 x 3 has 1 sq ft more than the 2 x 2, and its shape is preferable for 4 plants.

But my preference is 2 plants in a 2 x 4.
Each plant gets 4 sq ft, and everything is easily reached.
I liked the size of my first 2 x 2 so much, that I got a second one.
Personally, I'd prefer two 2 x 4 tents over one 4 x 4 tent.
Among other things, grows are more easily staggered with more tents.

One SP150 covers 1.5ft*3ft in flower, 2 cover a 3ft*3ft in flower, 4ft*4ft in veg. Well. I personally would go for SP250, because it has an extra long cord, the driver is dimmable. FYI :smoking:

Sounds great, SP250 is the right one.

If i only had those 2 choices i would go 3x3 with 2 sp150's. That way you could control your light for each plant. I have 4 Spider SF1000 one for each 2x2 area for my 4x4 growing space. Each seed is different so being able to give each plant the amount of light it wants makes for happy plants. Just my opinion.

Reaching more than 2 feet into a tent is difficult unless you can access it from multiple sides. That said go with the biggest tent you can fit in the space you have to work with. Then buy the best lights you can afford even if that means buying one to start and others as you go. This from a guy who has small tents and lights stored in the garage. .

Do you want a tall tent or a shorter tent?

Have you checked out the Autocob light? Might want to take a look. I have 6 and they are outstanding. I have a couple QB's too, but like the Autocob's best. Built by member @BigSm0.

Damn so many Choices it’s starting to make my head hurt lol. I looked into cob but not familiar with them at all. How many of these would be good in a 2x4 tent?

Well hell I just impulse bought the MarsHydro sp250 and 2x4 tent. Gotta go with the gut sometimes.
