Hello! I just recieved 10 Reg. Russian Rocket Fuel seeds, from Short Stuff. I also got a whole lot of freebies, but no AF's. Also, hopefully this week, I will also be recieving 5 Feminized Pineapple Express, and 10 (I think?) Reg. Mi5's. I plan on breeding these over time, and creating a few of my strains. A few of them aren't listed here, because they aren't AF's, and I'm not sure if I can create an AF strain just yet, or when I might get around to it. So for now my first intention is to get some pollen from a RRF male. I plan on popping 4 beans between now and the 23rd. So for now here's my setup! I grow other things as well, I'm a big gardener in an urban setting, so I bring the outdoors in! All the empty pots are being used for spacing, and are being watered and fed (the microbes that is), and ph is being monitered and adjusted so everything is all good by the time transplanting comes, in theory.

The picture below is where I germinate all of my seeds, and where cuttings go. There is a heat mat underneath that humidome. Above is "The Seedbank" I have all my seeds in there from passafloas to HBWR to Kanna to Canna. Organization brothers and sisters! At least look like you are trying

Here's where everything is moved when they start flowering. (except males) It's a 4x4 tent and they are under a 600w ducted/hooded hortilux hps.

Above is two pictures of the Veg/Mother room (for the non AF's when the time is right). They are under 4 t5 bulbs. 24w 3000k lumen with 2 in the blue spectrum and 2 in the red spectrum, in a 2x2x5'4" tent, inline fan for curculation not pictured. Right now theres some lettuce and poppies going (for seed I promise!) and some spinach. These will all be done harvesting soon, or moved and this will become mostly the mother/veg room as I said earlier.

RRFSEEDPK.jpg One of my favorite breeder's packs so far! Just awesome design! I just wish it wasn't so hard to open without destroying it...I collect these things! Maybe I am an idiot and missed a pull tab or something?

I know it isn't much to look at now, but I'm open to discussion and such. I'm thinking about RRF x Pineapple Express (PE). Problem is, it is only available fem'd. I figured I could just see what happens, and try to work with it. What do you all think?

welcome!! and thanks for the tour.
cant wait for those tents to fill up.

Thanks! Me too! Trying to figure the best way to keep my male(s) seperate from the ladies. I wanna hand pollenate, but I worry haveing a boy around in the house will knock up the rest screwing up the "pruity" of my plan!

Thinking of getting another tent, or using the 2x2, and putting a HEPA type filter on it....

Ever searching.

Welcome, what are all the other plants you got going? Do I see San Pedro in main room and Wild Lettuces in your Mother room? I think using RRF would be great breeding stock to start a new strain.

freaking fantastic! ive got a similar setup going, i love growing medicinal plants!

are those poppies? mine are finally about to open up their bulbs, very exciting. welcome to autoflower.net!

I tore up my SHortstuff Seed pack too to get into the seed. I must have missed the pulltab too :toke:Oh well

Hi there Gearbear, Those are actually Psilosocereus azureus. I found them at a petstore to take home and ID. While they aren't active, they do make great grafting stock for my other interesting cacti. ;)

Thats Mesclun, a mix of lettuce I bought in a packet, so I don't consider it wild :D. The poppies aren't yet big enough to see, but I have N. Rustica, or "Sacred Aztec Tobacco", wich I plan on making a chew, and a few wraps out of. :smoke: I also have some Mexican Dream Herb, Some Kanna, a fig tree, Psy. Viridis (Chacruna), some Lophs, some strawberries, Kanna, and more to come later. I'd like to open a shop someday, but for now my primary concern is collection, and development. What do you think about a Pineapple Express x RRF = Pineapple Fuel? (this post is dated so know my idea is too! hehe) I'm not sure if anyone else has that idea, or name, and I've searched, so if anyone can link someone else calling something that, let me know! Seriously!

Thanks HomeGrown! The poppies you prob can't see yet, only one has sprouted so far. Thats a lettuce I'm slowly eating. I'd love to see your poppies!

Nice collection, I want to have some nicely grafted cacti one day too.

I think that would be a great name for a quick cross of the two. What would you be chasing from the genes. Are you wanting a pineapple sweet and diesel smell? if so the name would def. imply it and it's heritage. A more interesting cross would probably be a straight pineapple pheno with RRF vigor and some red/ purple hue or hairs. That would make for a vixon of a plant great looks and colors, sweet/tart bouquet, with great growth. But that would entail a lot of work.

Work I don't mind, well, this kind :crying:

TBH, I had something in mind, but then I realized, I haven't smoked either yet, so I'm not doing either justice until I grow both out, and have a more define direction then.

During the grow process, I have ways to measure node growth, make comparisons on internodal length, etc, and will breed selectively.

What got me most interested was my experiences with other strains (both known and unknown) with some of the characteristics these strains have, but I haven't seen them in quite the combo I would like, so I'm working on my own. I originally wanted to call it "Russian Pineapples", and create it with a very fuel-ly overtone, as I have found the "fuel" phenos to be expansive in the lungs, making some cough, and there is where I hope the fruit undertones are expressed, on the exhale, and/or in the cough. But we will see when the cauldren gets a churning. :wiz: I have a feeling it will be a picture that paints itself overtime.

I liked the yeild, vigor, and overall growth on alot of the PE grows I have seen, same goes for the RRF. Starting them in small pots, then up to 2 gal felts.

that's the top notch approach to soil grown autos. Sounds like you know a little something something and got some experience behind you belt. How may years/ grows/ vet are ya?
