My photo to auto project "Growing the F1 out"

So I soaked my seeds last nigh and today after tapping on the seeds all sank so they are all in paper towel. The seeds are pretty fresh so I don't know how well they will sprout. I might end up scraping this thread if my germination rate is bad, refrigerating the seeds for a short time and starting over. Going to be a boring grow as I am growing out the F1 generation of my photo to auto cross to get them to F2. I will be keeping the plants small, topping them and finishing them in #2 nursery pots. They will be grown under a 250 CFL. I have the mother plant under the light right now being re veged but if I need the space I will have to throw her out. Trying to re veg so I can clone but if she is not ready before the plants need the light than that will be the end of her. When and if the seeds sprout I will start taking pictures. This is a cross between U-pink Kush and my own auto cross Purple M-80 strain that was at F2 at the time of the crossing. Its a cross I am working on for my wife. I am calling Cupid. The strain is 50% U-Pink which I believe is a pheno of OG, 25% Purple Kush and 25% AK47 if the ruderalis is not included in the mix. This is my first time growing these seeds out and I have not gave any out as of yet and might not. This strain might be one I keep personal. Wish me luck. It the seeds sprout than its game on!

Nope nothing sprouted. I have some seeds in refrigerator to trick them. Will give it another shot in a few weeks.

I have good results by putting the seeds in a paper envelope. Easy to lable and the seeds need to dry b4 they will sprout. Fridge works great as an evaporative cooler. Good luck Cupid sounds like a lovely strain.

Have to ask. Are you reveging the mom under 24 hr light and pumping the nitrogen to her? I also trim back to just one teetiny sprig often works fastest for me. I see your senior member and have all this down I just love these types of projects and just rambeling.

Ya I have some seeds in the refrigerator and still not wanting to take. It usually takes me a few months with seeds before they sprout good for me. I have some refrigerator and some in a closet. There just not ready yet. I did not feed much to re veg. The plant is large now and could use a little mag but I am undecided on if I am going to clone, kill, give away to some one or keep it. I just have a lot of things going on. I will post a picture of it in a few days to show how large it is. I could flower this thing and get a pretty good harvest with a little work. If I did that I would top it and make it about half as tall as it is, cut the root ball in half, put it in a 10 or 15 gallon pot with fresh soil, give it about 2 or 3 weeks of veg and bloom it out but I am having too much fun with my autos I am growing for smoke and might put projects on hold for a while so I can focus on growing my wife some good smoke. I just got a tent for my regular grows and need one now for my projects. I work 12 hours grave yard in the town next to the one I live in so the time I have to devote to my projects is limited.

12 hr graveyard shift jesus that sounds killer. Just thinking of you having to stay on your feet that long is making me tired ef it I'm goin back to bed

LOL ya I get to work about 30 minutes early just incase I have a problem like there is a wreck or construction on the way so form the time I leave to the time I get back home is about 14 hours total. I average around 48 hours a week. Its a fun job though and worth it.
