Hi everyone,

I am a first time hydro grower. Honestly, I have very little clue what I am doing. All I know is that I love the product, and would love to have a consistent supply of good bud.

I stumbled upon this website one day when researching how to grow your own, www.collegegrowbox.com. The prices seemed nominal based on other products I had been looking at, and I didn't stand a chance at DIY project; so I ordered a King Cab Indica grow kit from there. It is a CFL deep culture hydro rig.

I also ordered 6 All Star Genetics' Automazing seeds, and they came two free auto seeds; auto northern lights, and auto jack.

So, I loaded all 8 seeds up in to rockwhool, and stuck them in the grow box as the instructions specified.

I am now into week 3. I have had one minor issue with a too high PH, but other than that, so far so good...??? I guess we will see when it is time to harvest!

I will post some photos soon. I definitely could use guidance. You don't know what you don't know!

Welcome to AFN MrCoffee87! This is a great place to learn. Great growers and lots of info on site. Have a look around and I'm sure you will like what you see. Check out the site rules when you get a chance (link in my signature). There aren't many, but they are to be respected.

This will be edited often i am sure, so if you need to check back here. We aren't trying to set up a dictator rule. However, some guide lines should be set out.

1) Do not post your emails or private info in public. This is our home, but it is still a public place to which everyone can read your posts.

2) No Trading in the open forums, we can't stop what you do via PM's but be safe. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are sure you know who you are dealing with. Please also remember other members may not be comfortable with YOU.

5) Use common sense we don't need 50 rules on how to act in a public forum, so I'll leave it at that.

6)No being an Asshole – for those who do not understand - It's that intense motivation to conduct yourself in accordance to the standards of one which feels the need to rub their anus off on others to spread the distasteful odor of their inner workings. This is considered a very severe infraction and is shall we say, greatly frowned upon, action can include immediate banning if deemed necessary.
