New Grower My gdp day 45 no pistols wtf?

Day 45 on my G,Daddy Purp and no preflowers yet. She needs 12/12 to kick her into flower and I was thinking of covering her with a black trash bag for12 hours of dark.Will this work or will she suffer from being in the bag with less co2 and oxygen?

I built a folding frame 36" tall by 15" wide ( each section, with three sections on hinges. I then stapled 6mill black plastic to three sides and cut a piece that is stapled to one section and works as a top/front cover. Its easy to get it around a plant and works well. I used 1x2s to make the frame. cost me abouit $3.50 to make. I made it for one photo period that was growing in with my autos

I'm guessing that your CO2 would be lower. But the plants don't need oxygen. It's the microbes on and around the roots that need the oxygen. And they get it mostly from the dissolved oxygen in your water/nute solution. Doubt they would suffer in a 12 hour period.

I assume you're doing this cause there are other plants in the tent that you want to get their full light cycle. I would be more concerned with the plastic touching the leaves, lack of circulation, and heat.

Ya I have other autos that are in crucial flower period and need full light.I think if I make something like Pop says it will work ok.Once I see pre pistols she will go back to 18/6.Thanks for the help guys.

Nammy if she is a photo, then waiting till pistils pop and switching back to 18/6, will throw her back into veg...

She is a auto because I grew some in a previous grow.Got the seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl

It doesn't matter whether it says its an auto or not. If she flowers under 12/12 and not 18/6, its a photo. So switching it back, will throw it back into veg. Sounds like an non stabilized auto to me bro...

I bought my first batch beans from them. Was beginning to doubt my decision when I only got 1 out of 6 to germ (my stupid mistakes probably). I also could not see many reference to them on AFN or a couple of other sites that I looked at. Are having good results with the beans you got from them?

Nammy,
The larger phenos will take much longer to begin to flower.
They will also usually take much longer to finish, 90-100 days.
Take a look at my Tha Shiznit and Purple Amnesia.
