Im new to AFN and will start posting my current grow, for now Im just going to tell you about the genetics and the equipment Im using for it.
I crossed an afghan kush ryder fem with mi5 pollen and this is the first grow with these genetics and may recross these seeds with afghan kush again and again just depends on how they turn out.
My equipment is as follows: 5x5 secret jardin grow tent, 2x2 great white 6 inch air cooled reflector, lumatek 600w digital ballast, hortilux 600w super hps, 6 inch can fan max, 6 inch carbonaire filter and I run 18/6. My system is inside of a room in my basement that 7x9 so this allows me to keep my filter outside of my tent so that I dont pull out any of my co2 which comes from the co2 bags and I currently use 4 that are a few months old and 1 that I just bought. I use the advanced nutes ph perfect with excellent results.
This batch of hybrids has 14 non fems in total and I tried a lil experiment to test a theory I found about sexing germinated seeds by way of where the root breaks through the seed, rumor has it that female seeds in a non fem batch will come through 1 end of the seed where male seeds are supposed to come through the side of the seed. Out of the 14 that I started I planted 4 seperate seeds that came through the end and all the rest I didnt pay attention to what I planted due to being extremely stoned lol.
