hello yall,i wanted to get use to things on here before posting.first;ive grown photos most my life,everyway you can imagine(MH/HPS/OUTDOOR) even had my freedom taken from me for a looong time.(lil skittish still).but i love cultivation,its my passion and my peace(my happy place
).this is my first run on autos and first run period in 12.8 yrs
(due to certain circumstances).low down=250wt viaspectra xs250 pro with new samsung diodes(great coverage 4'x2' & 4'x4')...soil= roots organic blend with 50/50 supersoil on 1/3 bottom..soil fed great thru veg(4 wks) and roots hit supersoil into flower(had more runoff than i wanted) had to get use to everything again and autos!..its not good to have any run off in organics,washes your microbes out and thats your food,so i top dressed with fish bone meal/fine oyster shell flour for later ph balance..i also made banana peel tea for potassium and epsom salts for magnesium for later,"in-between" feedings when needed..we all know it takes DRY ammendments bout 12-15 days to break down to use and uptake.i use baked egg shells for calcium..(my overwatering on the first few times washed out alot of the supersoil micros)..gotta read your plant,listen to her!..i also got alot of other organic nutes for "just in case" issues.ive always liked the "KISS"(KEEP IT STUPID SIMPLE) method on my photos, i love organics and ran it first with autos first time..i use rainwater which is bout 5.8 ph natural(great for cal mag uptake 5.8-6.3% range) in between feedings.cal-mag will bind with nutes if not added first when mixing..(calmag first yall).i also use 50/50 perlite for great drainage and let them roots dig easier
.i put 1 teaspoon of "bigfoot" mycro in moist seedling hole/area before dropping seedling,great for roots with lil silica added thruout soil when prepped..its been a long time for me yall,lil rusty and autos first time,so mistakes were made,its how we learn and correct oursleves,but it was all fairly simple,just watch your ladies,feed the soil and soil will feed the ladies.i feed bout HALF what i would a photo with NO runoff now
.few branches were snapped during a move around and im trying something new and cutting bout a 1/4" off few top colas to see if it will fatten up more last 2-3 weeks.the gelato x purple punch is 90 days today(trics are not ready,bout 10 days my guess) and apple mint jelly is 80 days..all topped/LST different to experiment some..i also top dressed EWC 2x during grow and gave her a cpl shots of blackstrap molasses for sugars and whew..the trics are like frost and smells soooo good n nasty.bout that time..i planted the 2 apple jelly to harvest on xmas day and thats my day!worked out great!..shout out to viaspectra & NASC & my fam at NORML.love you guys and NASC gave me these beans as a a"last prisoner project" gift.thank you guys,ill be hollaring soon!..ive got alot of friends in the private breeding arena and they hooked me up with some xtra private craft beans.ty brothers..much love.
