Hi friends!

32 days ago I germinated my last dinafem Blue Kush Auto. She was looking beautiful. I topped a
her at about 18 days & then at about 26 days I pinched the tips off of the branches for her to really bush out. She did. However I found this. I picked it off but I see others elsewhere so I think I'm going to pull her tomorrow. Her growth in the last day is crazy & even her early flowers look a bit odd.

Are hermies common in autos? I was given about a dozen beans and this was the only one so likely no more common than in photosensitives.

I've been lucky to be gifted some seeds from the seed vault so I'm soaking "Short & Sweet" which is done in 60 - 65 days. Then another one called "Melana Bomb". I'll no doubt be posting pics of those soon.

Cheers!

Hermes can pop if stressed just prior to flowering. Am guessing the pinching of tops a week after topping was enough.

Hermies are always a chance with any breeder.

When they feminize a plant, if it had slightly below "quality" genetics (may have hermi in its past, just never caught).

I personally use collidial silver to cause part of my female to produce male flowers (where this switch causes some hermi effects, it could be passed down to the next generation.)

This said, if they are not tested after the new seeds are made, they have the possibility to miss the hermi gene to confirm they are what they wanted to breed.

Most of the time it is caused by genetics, other times it is just unlucky as there is no way to 100% guarentee a 100% female or 100% autoflower. Chances are really good from a quality breeder but I still base it on a 9/10 chances of it being what you order.

I would chop hir (him/her). Start up a new seed unless you want seedy bud! :)

Btw love Boveda products!:)
