I dabbled with growing in my youth, but it wasn't until I moved to the PNW that I really started learning about proper methods for indoor cannabis cultivation. Now beginning my second year as a grower, this is my third grow and my first attempt at growing an autoflower strain.
I recently moved into a smaller place, and going from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom also means downsizing from a 6'×6'×9' Gorilla Grow Tent down to a 2'×2'6"×4'7". It also means no extra room to separate veg and flower, so moving into the realm of autoflowers was the best option, next to no longer growing. People, I gotta grow!
I do have a partner that I grow with, and I'll be starting photo seedlings for him every few weeks while also growing autos for myself. My first is a feminized Lemon OG from MSNL seeds, and interestingly enough it is a trifoliate mutant. These mutations have been an area of special interest to me since I started my journey as a grower, so I am absolutely delighted to begin the Autoflower Chapter of my experience with a plant that is already very special to me.
And staying true to our apparent theme of firsts, I'm also busting my forum cherry here guys! That's right, this is all new to me. No I haven't been under a rock, I have a long history of social anxiety that I'm finally putting a foot down on, at least in part. I've decided to exit the world of Facebook and start spending my time perusing the forums of like minded individuals whose words have a common and relevant purpose. I have much to learn as well as much to share, so let's get growing!
