Hello, I start a journal to share my first grow, I'm a real noob on cannabis, but I have a little backyard to grow my own vegetables, fruits and spices, with the information provided on internet and your help I hope to get some result. In the future I'd like to learn to mix the soil, to make my own nutrients, mycorizze, microbe organics and a lot of things that sounds really interesting to me, but by now I'm going on the easy way...

The seeds have benn bought to be grown outdoor, but the weather doesn't help, so I start indoor and if the spring finally comes I'll move them out, where actually they could have 8/9 hours of direct sun...

... By now:
Grow tent: Mammouth 80 x 80 x 160 cm.
Light: CFL 250W Agro (25% 6400K - 75% 2700K)
Air out: 150 cubic meters / hour
Air In: passive + 1 clip fan inside
Soil: Biobizz Light Mix
Nutrients: Bio Root Plus, Bio Thrive Grow, Bio Thrive Bloom by GHE / Bionova Ph- / Agrobacteria Bactohemp
Ph Meter: Adwa AD12
Temp: min. 20°C max 24°C
Hum: min. 53% max 70%

Strain: Sweet Cheese Auto by Sweet Seeds

03-04-2105: 4 seeds have been left 12 hours in water at 20°C + 1 ml/l Bio Root Plus, then have been placed each one directly in a jiffy with the same water + Bio Root Plus.
03-09-2015: Birthday :)... 4 on 4

03-17-2015: day 8, they have been placed in their final 11 liter pots irrigated with some rain water and Agrobacteria Bactohemp. Till now I've only sprayed them with water once a day, 2 minutes before light turn off.

03-20-2015: day 11, first irrigation with 1 ml/l Bio Root Plus and 0,25 ml/l Bio Thrive Grow Ph 6,5/20°C The last pic is just to show the distance of the lamp.

I've already a question: when can I use Molasses on Autos? I've seen the Muddy's thread about auto's life cycle(thanks a lot) that says it's better to switch grow/bloom nutrients only when the stretch phase ends, but I don't know about molasses. If someone gently clarifies this I'll really appreciate.
Comments and advices are really appreciated too
That's all at the moment, I'll update once a week or if something happens, see you guys :smoke:

Looking good, G! On the molasses use, I have used it in mid-veg, week 3,again after stretch is over (the plants finish vertical growth, and flower buds are their deal from then on) and once more the week before I flush/finish the plants. In my case, I use 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses, NO SULPHER added!, per gallon of water/nute. You'll find a lot of "right" answers to that question, and some growers use it quite a lot.
Subbed up for your grow, G :) Keep up the good work! :Sharing One:

Thank you very much Waxi, I'll follow your schedule for the molasses (I've not found blackstrap, but it's no sulfate added) and when they will be out I'll try my alfa alfa brewing on 1 or 2 to see if I get good results.
Ciao ciao :Sharing One:

Good luck Grisu, will be following along

Day 14

Hello, my salad update on day 14:
Temp: min/max 20,4-23,1 °C
Hum: min/max 66%-72%
The soil is still moist under the surface, so no irrigation in those 3 days, only foliar spray with simply rain water once a day (I love rain water, no chlorine to evaporate and Ph perfect).
All together:

What do you think guys? I've seen on forums plants much more developed in 2 weeks, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or is a light/lighting time problem (250W CFL on 18/6)... btw I'm pretty happy with them, no troubles at all and they look healty.
Bye
G.

They are looking healthy Grisu, what height are you keeping that light at?

Thanks Hairyman, the lamp is very close, about 10 cm. I've lifted it up for the photoshot, but usually it's positioned as you can see in the first post.
See You

Hello guys, I've something to tell and something to ask on this 21 day update.
The plants have been irrigated with 1ml/l Bio Root Plus and 0,5 ml/l Bio Thrive Grow, that's a
lot less than what I find on G.O. usage schedule, but I think it was too much and I've burned the
leaf tips (just on the first pair and just a little) so the noob question is: if this schedule is
meant for a photosensitive as i guess, is it different for an auto? I've started with less than
half dose, is it still too much?:

Yesterday was their last day in the growbox, I moved them out, I forgot to buy them sunglasses,
however they're loving it... probably they will love less the 15°C night temp... let's see, I'm
here to learn and experiment, I was concerned to manage the stretch phase indoor, now they've
all the space they need, and not a noob adjusting their light height:

Last but not least the new arrivals:
1 Green Poison by Sweet Seeds (Photosensitive)
1 No Name by Medical Seeds freebie (Photosensitive)
4 Green Poison Auto by Sweet Seeds

As you can see the 2 photos have 2 days, the autos are just sprouting... second noob
question: How can I limit the initial stretch? I've placed the 2 photos under the light quickly
as they sprouted, they've spent 15/16 hours 10 cm. under the light, they loked good to me, but
they've stretched over night and the next morning I've found them doubled in height. BTW the plan
is to vegetate them for 3 weeks and move them outdoor like sisters.
That's all... comments and suggestions are welcome.
See You :Sharing One:

Hello everyone, I skipped a weekly update because I'm very busy with my job at this time, by the way the plants are still in vegetative stage and there is nothing interesting to see.
The 4 sweet cheese (35 days) outdoor look good, they had 2 weeks of sun, but the night temp dropped down to 8°C for some days (now back to 14°C), last week they had molasses (1 tbs/lt.) today 0.5 ml / lt. of Bio Thrive Grow, it seems to me that the plants are healthy and do not show deficiencies, they start to form pistils, but they're still stretching so I'll go forward with vegetative nutrients.

In the growbox the 4 Green Poison Automatic are at day 14, the Green Poison Photo has 17 days and seems to grow faster, I plan to put her outdoor too, but directly in the soil so she has all the space she needs for her roots, I'd like to learn some cloning and there's time for some experiments. The No Name Photo died in mysterious circumstances, with the same soil and watering of the GP, and still no fertilizers -.-

See you, ciao
