Have heard and read too on-line that music and enhance and stimulate plants growth? Any one with any experience like this? I am thinking of playing Classical music by my plants as played by one of the UK wine farmer and reported to media that his plants have increased their growth since music has been introduced to them. Please check it on-line at :

Hey there and welcome if this is your introduction. I play music to mine sometimes. Nt sure how much it actually helps, but I think it does. :D

Plants love vibration and is stimulates root growth..so thats where it comes from. But if you are going to play music to your girls make sure is something with a lot of bass..or even turn down the treble and just leave the bass on high.

yup they love it... look up "the secret life of plants - documentary 1979) it'll blow yur mind... then wehn you're done with that... in the upper right on here... search "plants and magnetism" you'll see my thread..... you're gonna love it here! welcome!

have seen any of my plants they get music often
i play deathmetal/techno/hardcore :)

i agree to the bass part of music as said by "demsone" above. bass stimulates their vegetative growth and experiments have shown that the plant can produce more healthier fruits.
my fans makes a lots of buzzing noise. i believe that should suffice the need of music. but still playing jazz around them :P

above link gives good information too, fellows.

I know that sound is light. It' s just a different wave-length. Provide the propper sound and it should imo fill in some spectrum that is benificial. My plants hear drama all day from the HLN channel that plays soap-operas, those bitches judge judy, jane velez mitchell, and nancy grace, etc. I' d say my plants are praying for a big shot of Weed-B-Gone by about now.
