OLD REVIEWS Mossy/Wiz Purple Jem Strain Review?

Has anyone finish a grow and would like to be the first to share with us about the taste, smell, looks, and potency of the purple jems. I have found some information but not exactly this. It may be too soon, but i am sure someone has grew mossy jems out already or are about to finish up pretty soon. I am looking forward for others to reply in. I really like how Wiz came up with adding jems to purple, was quite genius and i would have to say profound magician lol.

I grew some Mossy Purple Jems way back prob 2-3 yrs ago....and am one of the many here who was excited to see them available again..remember the colors and fun of seeing something different then.....good wseed too......got some growing right now couple of diff phenos....Mine are bout 30 days old and budding well....several more to germ awaiting their time upon the stage....I'm sure you'll see several reviews in the coming months or two....

i still cant wait till i see some finish pics of purple jem.... i am ready to start breeding from the purple jems as soon as i receive em..... i got a couple of different crosses in mind... one auto X auto and one auto X photo

my goaL IS TOO have a purple auto with good taste, looks, and potency.. not saying the purple jems arent great already.. but everything can be improved.. and i would love to show the world.... what i can do with em

i grew 2 Mossys Purple Jems in my last grow
( see my signature )
both turned purple,both had a wonderful aroma
before cure the flavor was acidic but fruity
but if you have the patience to properly dry and cure
you will be very well rewarded...
the open jar has a very faint "oily skittles " smell
when you grind the bud it gets stronger towards the fruity side
i use a MFLB vaporizer...the taste is delicious and the exhale leaves
creamy taste on the tongue.
a little goes a long way,but i also consume 4 ounces of so-baked no -bake
cookies every day...my motor is already running..so to speak
just a pinch ..vaped untill it turns black...puts me in a very
focused frame of mind....i can think very clearly and
creatively...but i can't get my ass out of the recliner to do anything.
2 pinches...in the MFLB..and you are gone for 2 hours...but
feel great when you get up..really refreshed

taste= i love it
looks= purple just looks great on a bud
potency= 8 out of 10...i am not the best person
to honestly judge potency but if it gets you quick,
lasts a good while,and makes you sit there and say
"dam i feel goood" ,i judge that an 8

I've grown about 6 JEMS so far and i completely love the smoke. Ive only had one that turned purple and the taste on her was exceptional. The aroma in the grow room towards the end is very nice as well. A bit like flowers mixed with some fruityiness. The ones that i grew without the color were much better tho as far as pain killer. They put your mind in a perfect state of relaxation and i didn't have a bit of couchlock with them.

Yea, crossing the JEM would be a nice venture for sure.

Taste= Yummy... somewhat sweet with fruity undertones
Smell= Floral but when breaking down bud it smells more fruity with a nice sweet weed smell
Looks= A+ Mine was a purplelish red color
Potency= about an 8 of 10 great medicinal values for nerve pain

I plan on doing a seed run on these and would like to know when is the best time to polinate? How long should I let the plants go to make sure the seeds are fully matured? Best way to cure seeds?

Budz...

the Best way to get a mass germination is to let them do it themselves..IF you can...

I put them in ath same pot...and let them get on with it...

Simple rule of Thumb...early germination..less but fatter seed..
Late germination..more..smaller seed.

I Like to hit them early for Good Breeding stock.

If you have the males females in seperate pots...and don't want a full pollenation..
Remove the males from the cupboard..Paper Bag them for a few days....and they will shed the pollen into the bag..then cut them down and distribute the pollen.

Again..simplest way is to put the Pollen filled bag straight over the females head...

But..if you want to Store the pollen...remove any green matter/flower heads...let it dry off for a couple of days..then FREEZE..

Don't forget to LABEL it..coz believe me..if you have a few..or don't use it for a while..you will forget.

So what Ive ben reading that these can be sexed at about 3 weeks in, so polinate at about 4-5 weeks? Maybe Wiz would know.
