I've been doing a little thinking on adding molasses to my water this grow, haven't met anyone who does it but have heard things, what do you guys think? It sounds logical and a lot of those "Sweet" nutes are basically raw sugar. If you have used it, do you use through out or only flowering, only last two weeks..?

alot on here use it i use sugar daddy from technaflora, then i use bud candy for the last 3 to 4 weeks b4 harvest. yes it is good for the plants get the molasses from the hydro store it will mix with water alot better and the plant will respond better. good luck:bong:

I believe molassas contains trace amounts of potasium which probably has more to do with the help in flowering than all the sugar that is in it. Its a great low dose subsititute between feedings. :) You will want to check your PH when using Molasses as it really lowers it fast when added to water.

Tons of people add molasses mate :)
You can even add it to coco and hydro but its a bit risky due to risk of all nasty kinds of things growing off the sugar.

Best use blackstrap molasses :)
Molasses made from carob are especially laden in MG,Cal,and phosphorous.

Just make sure your molasses is unsulfured....lot of info around here on the pros of molasses in soil grows....I use it a couple of times during flower ....did a 3 way test a while back on taste/potency.....the molasses added babe was tastiest by far....

Right On! Thanks Everybody! you ask a question and get an answer, I gotta say this forum is much better than rollitup, alot pricks on there bashing on newer growers, hey we all gotta learn somehow, and since they don't really teach cannabis 101, well where I am anyway lol.

This is not your ordinary weed forum mate :)
You are welcome to ask questions anytime and we will help. No noob bashing here.
Goodluck !

ps: as with everything, dont over it it. Give it just a few times not very regularly or you might develop some problems.
Also, the molasses will attract pests to come and breed in your tasty medium. You have been warned :D
