I use Crosby's blackstrap molasses, any brand will work, just make sure it's blackstrap :)

What is blackstrap, and what does it contain that benefits the plants? and what stage of the plant life do you give it.. do biobizz for example have a molasses for sale in their line?

Molasses can be bought at your grocery store, it's used for baking, it's used in horticulture to boost soil microbial activity, it also contains trace elements, and its a chelating agent making nutrients more easily used by plants

blackstrap molasses is the best to use because it contains more trace elements than the other types of molasses

I use molasses to feed microbes in the soil and make compost teas. It's the only reason I use it. It does have micronutrients in it but not the reason I use it.

Most of the Bio Bizz line is derived from Molasses.
