Strain: White Widow Auto from Royal queen seeds
Light: Outdoor
Medium: Coco
time: 60 days~ 4 weeks into flowering

So I mistakenly misdiagnosed some of my females sacs (with long tips) as male sacs and in a panic I pulled quite a few of them out thinking a hermie had kicked off. I feel like an idiot but oh well :(

The tips of the pistils are browning, which also prompted my fear toward hermie?

Will this cause significant stress to the plant or will it just grow new sacs without issue?

Many thanks

Its hard to say....... Out of the many autos I have grown, there have been a few that got stressed early in flower and then just decided to mature/ripen and check out with very poor yields, and when this has happened it was like your plant, the few pistols it had grown went brown.... With that said I have had a few brown like this then really take off..... Overall to me it is a bad sign....

Pistol browning not an indication of herm.

Usually I see it if they get brushed up against something, like another leaf... or burned by lighting or sunlight. I have a couple on my back porch that look Similar, I believe due to the excessive UV index. The neighbors tree leaves literally look burnt on the west side, so I'm seeing it in more than just canna. My indoor run of the same strain not exhibiting the same issue.
