Indoor MH or HPS

Will Iget a better grow if I use MH for the first three weeks of veg and then change to HPS when they start to flower or just use HPS for the entire grow,I have both ? My systems are 400w,and I grow in Oceanforest.THANKS

I don't know if you'll get a better grow but blue light is better for veg stage and red light is good for flower production.

That being said i have mine under a HPS throughout their life. They do fine.

HPS will keep thm stouter/shorter, and MH will make for longer nodes and more leaf.

agreed, though mh should keep em shorter with more nodes and less stretching, the hps will make them stretch a bit more but will be better for bud production, im using hps all the way atm and have noticed alot more stretch than when using a 6500k veg light for the first 3-4 weeks.

Agree with sticky ...... MH makes shorter stouter .... HPS lets them stretch a bit .
