Hi!

This is my round 2 trying this strain out. First one didn't quite finish as I would have hoped, didn't get a yield that would have satisfied me but the quality of the end product was something so powerful I just couldn't help but to give this another go and see if I could tame this lady of the night finally.

My setup is as follows:

Grow space:
60cm x 100cm x 200cm (DxWxH) = 0,6 m2

Lights:

HS1 (for the vegetative period)
GNTelos 0008 (for the generative period, rewired unit to 180w / 6 modules)

Reservoir:
Old GHE aeroponic system tank modified to be just DWC tank. I use 2" trays and 9.6 lpm airpump with 4 airstones.

Nutrient line-up:
Remo Nutrients (Micro, Grow, Bloom, MagNifiCal, VeloKelp, AstroFlower & Nature's Candy
Canna Cannazym (Enzymeproduct to help keep the roots clean)

Air movement:
Carbon filter and exaust fan (280m3/h)
Oscillating fan

DAY 01

pH 6.2
EC 0.3

Feed:
VeloKelp 1,5ml per litre

I will be updating some pics soon. Both babies popped up earlier today.

DAY 01

Earlier bird. Both babies did pop 3 days after putting the seed to the rockwool. These are at least 2 year old seeds but still the germination is super.

Little one just had her seed cap out of the way as it was still on.

Very nice bud!! From what i have grown and seen, the ANQ isnt a huge yielder in general...i have grown 3 and pulled 50 grams from each of the 3, in 1.5 gallon pots of promix HP. I am so happy with the quality of the toke though, that every time i fire up autos the ANQ is in.

Good luck on your grow my friend!!

Welcome my friend! :toke:

Excellent! Yeah couple years ago when I did the first grow with ANQ it did yield somewhere around 50g also, if memory serves me right. I'd like to at least douple that yield this time.. This strain was so sticky and powerful and tasty and the excellent yield it provided with rosin pressing was superb to anything I have pressed before. Got to have some more of this goodness. Thanks for joining in and lets hope it will be a good journey!

Second DP thread running, ANQ is a beauty and the toke is excellent, good luck, only the one who's grabs the stars can walk on the clouds, i see you growing a pounder!

DAY 11

pH 6.2
EC 0.75
RH 48%
T 24.9 C

Light distance from the plants 45 cm

Here we go again. Noticed that the pH had been down to 5.7 pH for a day and I see the typical results of that. Ah so familiar brown spots on the lower leaves while the top of the plant with new growth seems untouched. I've given advice on this to people over and over again and ofcourse then it happens to me. It is interesting to observe that this happened only to the other phenotype while the other one seems more or less happy. So to conclude, there are genetics that will be fine at 5.8 pH even on my garden from the get go. However, this is not typically the case.

Introduced a bit stronger feed and had it at 6.2 pH where I know these ladies are going to be happy during their vegging.

PICS

I think this one is so far going to be the phenotype I choose to continue with.

Affected and weaker one. I keep this one for now just to observe how it goes.

Hey medgrower. Both girls has good genes from what i can see. Good call on keeping her even she shows some deficiencies, sometimes the slower ones, the ones with a smaller setback in the start is the best ones. The ones giving the best yield.
Overall, looking great bro.

DAY 17

pH 6.1
EC 0.76
RH 43
T 25.4

I think you were right @RamboGarden the weaker plant is indeed overtaking. These babies are doing so nice both of them that I think I will keep them both and just defoliate and remove branches accordingly when they start hugging too much. This strain kind of stays low so it would be reasonable this time. No new feed for this week, I am going with the same feed as the leaves seem quite dark yet happy.
