I'm assuming this is rick simpon oil (RSO) diluted with olive oil

Does anyone know if this is safe to do with 99% iso alcohol if so would it need to be purged? also does the bud need to be decarbed? intentions are not to get high but for a medicinal reason

decarbing is best for most medicinal uses, but not all. 99% will work but I personally don't think people should use ISO, that's just my opinion. I use Everclear for mine, no need to purge with grain alcohol. Also, things wrong in this video:
Protecting the silicone tubing with aluminum?? Silicone products are inert and react with almost nothing, its as good as glass for safety, where as I'm not convinced that aluminum is safe to use with alcohol.

The baby bottle idea is ok, but not very handy when it comes time to remove the oil. Also, that was a pretty pathetic liiking wash he did...lol! A large baby food jar will fit in a bottle warmer and woiuld be much easier to work with.

Spot on, pop, imo! I will sometimes use 99% iso, but I keep the pyrex pan on a low temp heat pad overnight, to ensure the alcohol has in fact purged. Everclear is hard as hell to find in my area.. We're a coffee brandy microcosm......lolol

Thanks Pop I read those tutorials before, very detailed but it seems the decarb never comes out right

I'm on the same boat as wax no everclear and can only work with 99 iso, usually leave it for 2-3days with a fan over it

I was thinking I could make qwiso then mix it up with olive oil, it would be for my aunt who is in constant pain and cant sleep

If you have access to moonshine, that also works very well. Just did my first extraction with it a couple weeks ago with very good results.

Thanks Muddy, unfortunately I don't have access to that either. Did you make a tincture or just extraction?
