hey there!

i want to start my first grow.
but there are many different fertilising schedules in the www and now i'm so confused. i dont know what would be the best fertilising schedule for my Lowryder #2 grow...
my plan looks like that:
Lowryder #2
Bio Bizz All-Mix
pot = 2 gallons (if thats the right conversion from "liter" (germany)...)
growing on balcony
there are completly different opinions. on the one hand "no fertilising at all" because the Bio Bizz All-Mix would be completly satisfying for such small plants and on the other hand "fertilising from day one with 3 different fertilisers".

could you help me? i dont want to fail :/

greetings

:DYou could go with no nutes and it would work, but adding even a small amounts of nutes will produce a larger and more productive plant.Even feeding once or twice a month will help a lot.

but is it enough to have one fertiliser or do i really need 3 different ones?

The all mix should have enough nutrients for the first 3-4 weeks. After that you'll need a vegetative nutrients, higher in nitrogen, for the next 2-3 weeks. After that, you should use flowering nutes, less N and more P and K, for the next 4 weeks or so. Then plain, pHed water for the final two weeks. https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html

Bear in mind that most published nutrient schedules are meant for photo plants. Autos are different and therefor have different requirements. They tend to be a bit more sensitive to nutrients and in most cases no more than 1/2 strength is ever needed. Start with 1/4 and work up to 1/2, all the while watching your plants to see how they respond.

oh, thank you for all your responds! :)

"Bear in mind that most published nutrient schedules are meant for photo plants"
yeah, thats my problem :( but i think i'll try your strategy and observe the reactions.

i if take the light mix, does this strategy also fit? because if this all-mix is too intensive for my little cuties then i'll probably take the light mix into consideration...

No matter what soil you use follow what Muddy said and you will be ok.

If you're growing auto's, it's advised to start your germinated seeds in a nuteless or near nuteless mix, as to not burn and stunt them early in life. Mixes such as Promix and Sunshine mix offer this, as well as Light Warrior from Fox Farms. I am not experienced with the Bio-Bizz All mix, but it sounds like it might be similar to Ocean Forest from Fox Farms. There are already nutes in it and it's too hot to start in, common new grower problem.

So start in something lighter for the first two weeks, then you can transplant or tier into your BB all mix or the same mix with your own added nutrients. But like Muddy says, start light with your doses and watch your plants closely for burns. As time progresses over feedings you can gradually bring your nute strength up to 1/2 strength, and some strains can take even more, but you don't wanna do too much too fast.(that's what she said)

Hope this helps.

You can use the ocean forest..but it must be cut with light warrior

wow, this is actually the best board, you really really helped me :)

yes i thought about using nuteless soil for the beginning.
so i think i would do it like this:
i'll take a pot, fill it with a light mix and then fill the last special area with "potting compost"/nuteless soil so that my seeds won't get burnt. and if they're ready for fertilising i'll feed them :D

thank you very much!
