Hey guys and gals!

This is my first grow with my current set up and I have read many things on how to tell when auto's are done. I would just like a second opinion. This is my blueberry plant it is 65 days old. I read the post on "how to tell when they are done", but I'd like to ask the knowledgeable forum goers anyway.

Thread: When to harvest autos? Your leaves will tell you. by muddy check it out,

I actually mentioned in my original post that I did, in fact, read that thread. It has been a guideline so far. Nothing really touches on what I am asking about. I understand about general yellowing of the fan leaves, but are the leaves supposed to be turning the brown color you can see in my photo? I will definitely wait until week 10, but I don't know if that browning is normal. They aren't getting anything but plain water that was left to sit for 24 hours so the chlorine can evaporate.

we need more info to help you. Is it grown indoors/out, under what wattage/type of grow light. in what kind of medium and with what nutes? That info might help you get more detailed responses.

:peace:

Ha, ok I didn't give as much as I thought.

Indoor set up, closet type deal. The highest temperature I have had was 85 F on average, but it has spiked to 90 on really hot days here, but those are rare. Humidity isn't a problem and neither is air flow. I have a single 400 watt hps light hanging above it. It is in soil that has plant food and I added two small bags of perlite to the mix. The nutes I'm using are Foxfarm big grow and the bloom. They are watered by hand every other day.

They have done so well right now I know it is close to harvesting, I just don't want to push it too hard. At this point I have stopped all nutes and just given them plain water. I know the yellowing is normal, but it is just the browning I'm concerned with at this stage. They look and smell fantastic. Nice aroma, very frosty. Maybe I'm just being over protective of my babies.

I'd like to get a soilless mix , but I'm too poor right now...lol! I'll reinvest once I have the means. I know I want to try LST because I've read many journals that what they can get in two plants with LST looks like what I may get in 10.
