I have a 5' by 5' by 2m long tent.

It's good for my 1000w lights and t5 fluorescent. Downside is that it's pretty big in dimension.

My issue is that when I was taking the tent apart before, some of the connectors that attach the beams ended up cracking. Due to this, I'm left with a kinda broken tent in those regards. Someone told me I should go and try to buy some DIY PVC connectors that are cheap from my local store in place for them.

Do you guys think that's the right move, or should I try to get a new tent altogether for my next run?

thanks for the advice bro. ill probably do that then. just thought i should ask because ive never been in this situation before. when I go to the store, should I bring a good replica of the connector to help match with what they have? for diameter purposes.

If you've got a lot of gear hanging from the top, you may want to replace the tent.

Nothing ruins your day more than coming home to find your light on and laying on top of your fully flowering girls.

If or when you do replace the tent.... metal connectors.

I've got my t5 fluorescent that's been iffy to be honest. I've never had issues with my 1000w bulb because it doesn't weigh that much. My t5 fell a couple of times in my first run. I was quick to fix it because I heard a large noise when I was at my place as it happened. Luckily it failed on one side and not full throttle downward. Still, it cracked some stems minor or not..

Tools I have.. Lets see. I have a pretty big phresh brand carbon air filter. Big inline fan as well. They're off on the side though. I have large carabiners for support for most of my stuff. You commenting this is nice now because it legit reminded me of what happened with the t5 falling over and stuff. I had forgotten because I started using my 1000w mh for veg after some time.

You think Home Depot would be good for these connectors or should I go to another store?

ya, the depot would probly have em, or the good ol' local hardware store ;) ppp
