Hey I am looking to order some seeds for my upcoming outdoor season. I am going to be using organic supersoil in a 55 gal barrel wick system (shown in the DIY section).
I am currently growing the MAXIGOM and am super impressed with her results so far. I am looking for opinions on other great auto or super auto strains. Keep in mind I am looking for the plants that give the best weight.
I always seem to run out of my outdoor stash by christmas and I really would like to produce enough in the summer to do me the whole year so I am looking to mix it up and have some variety.

Automazar from Dutch Passion could be for you under good conditions some phenos are outstanding yielders. Then again if you optimize your environment(soil, water, fertilizer and exposition to sunlight) and (if you can) up the plant count you should have a decent yield that lasts you a year with whatever auto strain you use/prefer.

I grew some Super Cali Haze outdoors last year in 10 gallon pots. Averaged about 4.5 oz. per plant. Also, take a look at the LBH seeds in the e-Shop. They all get much bigger than dwarf autos. I've got 2 Samurai Jacks going indoors right now and they are both well over 30" tall and are looking like they will produce at least 3 oz. per plant, maybe more.

What Lat will you be growing at and what time would you like to finish at?

and are you looking for an auto ? photo? or very light sensitive variety.?

+1 for the samurai jacks. These are gonna be my bread and butter next year for corn fields. I have some going now that are getting seeded, along with some photoperiods that are getting seeded with the male's man dust.

These are a medium density (supposedly, havent seen finished buds yet. I just know they're not SUPER fluffy) haze x jack herer cross that grow 0 branches. Think about that for a second, and how perfect they would go in a corn field. I have 5 females going that are 3 foot bud sticks and cant wait to smoke them. And, with enough soil and an easy first month of life, these bad boys will get 6 foot tall and yield close to a QP, all in about 120 days before the corn is ready to come down.

Need more info . Are your northern or southern? Dry or wet climate? Pots/buckets or in the ground?

Being a northern grower I try to do just 7-8 week strains of photos outdoors . Afghan crosses have done well for me bringing 1 lb + on well taken care of plants . Have also had good luck with a G-13 x Great white shark .

Cheers,

Thanks for the info everyone. I am growing the plants in the 55gl barrel wick systems from the DIY section. I want to grow 5 plants in the sideholes of the barrel and one on the top so 6 per barrel. I am going to run organic super soil. I am in a northern climate (zone 4) Frost until the end of May and frost in mid October thus the auto idea. I have photos started now for cloning and will be putting them out as well using the same setup. With the photos I will be running 1 per barrel, I have started now 1 Rocklock, 1 Kalashkinova and one R.K.S. The Rocklock flowering time is short while the other 2 strains have a medium timeline. Due to being ripped in years gone by I want to do some autos in order to crop them early (before rippers are looking) and then I also get a second harvest with the photos.

I have looked for the samurai jack beans but can't seem to find them. During my search I found DNA's 60 day wonder, does anyone have any experience with this strain?

I have never had much luck producing large numbers with auto outdoors. They are great indoors during off season and even while waiting for outdoor grow to be complete.I always start my outdoor photo type indoors in march and veg them under 18/6 till late april early may. Then place outdoors. the key to big numbers is a big bushy plant.5 plants vegged for 4-5 month will yield great numbers. If you pick a big bud strain you could get enough to last you throughout the year.this is what i do, but i do also run autos indoors to suplement my supply.Last season 15 well vegged plants yielded me over 4 pounds.

You'll only find the SJs here in the e-Shop at the top of the page. While you're there, check out the others from LBH. Most of his get bigger due to their sativa genetics. Good stuff.
