Hi all,

This is my first grow. Going relatively well (except I made the silly choice if growing too many plants in small pots and of three different strains).

These two plants are my oldest at 9.5 weeks (since the day I planted pre-germinated seeds).

They are due for watering today and I can't decide whether to feed them, or begin flushing. I understand when I should harvest, and have a jewellers loop and digital microscope for analyzing trichs, but I'm not sure when I should stop feeding and start flushing.

My guess is that the plant that has mostly amber pistils could be flushed, and that the other could have at least one more feeding cycle (fox farm trio).

Any input appreciated before I have to decide in 8 hours.

Thanks!

I do not flush. This is the only scientific test I know of about cannabis flushing.

If you mean flushing in the terms of dumping shit loads of water through your medium, no no never do that. Personally, when the leaves start turning yellow like that, I start feeding only water, no nutes. I do use a flushing agent the first time with no nutes, then only water the last couple weeks. I have done both, fed right up to harvest and starting with only water at the onset of yellowing, and can see no difference in the final product from either way. I just do it to save on two weeks worth of nutes on each grow. No real difference, so I save the nutes. So my opinion is to switch to just water and maybe a flushing agent first but not necessary either.
