Hi guys I'm a complete noob grower doing good so far I think, but not so sure because my plants started to pre-flower more then a week ago, each of them produced a few white hairs and bud formations, but then they seem to have stopped flowering and went back to stretching like crazy. one of them is already half my tent height. Is this normal behaviour? I'm concerned about the stretching also since a few days the flowers seem to have stopped evolving.

- 7 plants (one was male), seeds are dinafem white widow and cheese feminized - light: AF. 600w HPS
- Medium:atami wilma 8 pot drippers, canna coco + clay pebbles, PH 5.8
- nutrients canna coco A+B (EC 1.6),
- temp: about 80-82 fahrenheit (that's all I can accomplish with 2 extractor fans and cool tube).
- Light schedule 20/4 today I changed it to 18/6 ,could this help the flowering or it doesn't matter?

One of them was crazy from day 1, at any point of the grow she liked to be twice as tall as all the others. Not sure why all plants have identical treatment. I thought it was too much or too little light moved it around it didn't matter. At this point she's growing taller than the light hood. Here comes my question: should I move the light higher, and risk the stretching of all the others or leave it as it is? (see pics)

Also in almost 1.5 weeks from preflower I only have about 5-6 white hairs on each node and it's like that since a few days now. Is this normal? How long does it take to pre-flower?

And finally when should I introduce the pk13-14, or should I already?

hey dildano

personaly i would raise the light a few inches away from the top of your big girl and then find something to put the others on to raise them up and form a evenish canopy.

i had a similar problem and had two plants sitting on upside down pots so they got the optimum light available, then as they grew i moved them down

and i wouldn't worry too much about the buds not fattening yet autos spend from week 3 to week 6(appox) growing very fast, when you see the vertical growth stop you should see all the bud sites really start to explode with growth

and i usually would advise using the pk from about week 5-6 after they sprouted while still giving a weak dose of grow nutes to help the girl with her branching and vertical growth

hope this helps :peace:

Mine took about 2 to 3 weeks from preflower to full bud flower.I know its hard to wait and I think we have all been there,so they will come .And I wouldn't start bloom nutes until full flower starts.:smokebuds:

hey seraphim19, good idea to raise the others, but kinda hard to do that with my wilma system, I'm afraid the water will spill all over. maybe not upside down pots but I'll try to find some pots that could hold them higher in normal position that should work and contain the water.

nice to hear they should stop growing next week (week 6) they grow so fast I get a headache every time I open the tent. I fear big mama will poke thru the top of the tent in a few days if she doesn't stop heheh.

Also do you think I should leave them on 20/4 light or is it better I changed it to 18/6? Not sure on that one.

nice to see long pre-flowers are normal, I was beginning to stress about it, thanks namvet25:smokebuds:

there is not much difference between 18/6 and 20/4 in my experience, but i have had slightly better results using 20/4 so i would recommend that

just my :2cents:

I put it back to 20/4 aye, it looks like big mama is starting to hit the breaks didn't grow so much yesterday and the others are catching up, still no bud yet but I think I'm ok for now, thanks guys!

I have a Narco Purps thats in pre flower for almost 2 weeks and it isnt showing much except that its really growing , the tops are getting that droopy look so its close
