Hello autoflower network! I am new to this forum as i just planted my own royal dwarf and thought to browse this forum a little. As i was browsing i found out this post http://www.autoflower.org/f43/who-has-smallest-healthy-autoflower-grow-5014.html
I personally think it is amazing how some people can handle every thing about heir plant and am very interested in growing such a plant not for smoking (although i will not throw it away if it eventually does produce buds :P) but for fun and i would like your input and advice on how i can achieve that. I have heard that i should not top autoflowering plants as it stunns their growth but if that does not effect their vegetative and flowering periods maybe it would be a good way to achieve it?? Anyway if you like to help thank you in advance

Welcome to the site.
So from what I read. You would like the smallest autoflower?

The smaller the container the smaller the plant. You could also Low Stress Train. Which would involve tying down the plant

soz the pic is so small and blurry, my cam seems to have changed its focus settings and i'm arsed if i'm going to take it again. it's enough to see that there are buds (orange hairs) and that the plant is just about 2" tall. there are normal trichomes and calyxes, she's pretty much perfectly formed.

thanks for making me feel like a winner :p

i've had about eight autos do this to me this summer, and this is the shortest (and perhaps one of the higher yielding..) my recipe calls for extreme heat and aridity (do you have a hairdryer?) no direct light, a high ambient population of predatory insects, and preferably a wide selection of caustic agents to douse your plant and medium with.

i'd also recommend switching to a new and unknown medium before the attempt. i used fox farm ocean forest, which seems to be a choice medium for maiming growing things.

apart from that one leaf dying down the bottom she's pretty healthy. born cinco de mayo, making her close to four months old.

no, no need to thank me or gawk in awe.

RRF.jpg you can see calyxes in this one :P

No way thats pretty cool how a girl so small can flower :smokeit:

I believe if you give it a small pot and not much light it wont grow much. I once saw an amazing auto grown with just a single 30w CFL on a 12/12 time schedule that was absolutely tiny but still somehow managed to yield around 7g if I remember correctly!

high temps low85f, high112f, R/H never over 15% over the entire grow. started with 16oz solo then tiered into 32oz styro hempy cup...100% Perlite...260w Blue CFL's keep 3in above top...lites on 24/7 no timer and the plant was just sitting on shelf in garage. but i dont know why you would want to do that for 3 OR 4 bong rips.

Wow, i am amazed by how fast you all answered!! Thank you very much for your answers. What i want then is high heat, not much light and small containers! Then it is time for me to experiment and find out what works best for me. Also tokemymeds i want such a plant more for an aesthetical point of view but unfortunatelly cant have a full size plant on my yards table because it could get me in trouble. Lastly it seemed weird to me the 100% perlite. Is that a possible medium to grow and if yes is there some change that has to be done to the nutrients?
Thanks again for your help, it is much appreciated!

lol @ si.

100% perlite = hempy (hopefully...) a proven technique.. check seedmine, someone's doing a commercial hempy grow :)

i totally recommend leaving your plants near a sink too. the gnats in the sewer will find it easy, soon you'll have a lovely cloud of gleeful miniature fornicators that will cripple the growth of any young plant :)

i reckon tokemymeds is fairly close by :D

100% perlite Hempy with 1oz of VF-11 per/gal of water PH to around 6 used daily, thats it.... thats as KISS as it gets.... @WG no sewer needed, lites on 24hrs it brings in the nite cridders to do their job.
