I harvested one of my deimos plants and I left the main top bud until last. I cut the main branches of the plant first and trimmed those buds, before returning to the main stem an hour or so later and cutting the remainder out.

Whilst trimming this main bud I noticed little brown bubbles would occassionaly appear and that the areas of these buds would be particularly damp. I wondered why this had happened and what the bubbles were.

For instance was it a survival move by the plant which had noticed the other parts were hacked off and so secreted some resin around the remaining buds in an attempt to keep the menace at bay?

Happened to me to when I was harvesting my latest grow. I was thinking that because I started the harvest in a morning and plants were "waking up" and they had their liquids coming up and all the photosynthesis and processes of light cycle began. :toke: Your theory of survival mechanism is a lot more interesting.

I have seen it once before - on a Afgani plant a friend grew years ago. I saw these plants at the early veg phase and they to would occassionally have bubbles on the leaves, only they were clear as oppossed to brown coloured. I had completely forgotten about it until I harvested that plant yesterday.

My plant was strongly afghan dominant F1 hybrid. Also in my plant those drops were clear with a touch of amber color. I try to find a picture.

Now got interested about this. Found some info about old moon calendar whits tells when is good time to sow seeds or harvest or what ever. the Its saying that when the moon is rising plants liquids are flowing. Whoa too high to think this now.

Toke a pic of one of the drops

It's sticky like resin of a pine tree.

I've had this happen in the high Affy line before.

Grab a droplet and rub it between your fingers..see if it is tacky..that is what mine was like..def not water..
just oozy ...

I'd be over the moon with it..:booya:

Nope not just water. :D Bud in the pic is dry and yes it's tacky like a glue or resin. :hump:

Jackal had that on an Onyx or AA plant last year and we weren't sure what it was. I've since learned while reading the book HASHISH! that it's resin.
