Our story starts at day 30*. One plant only, a Black Domina*. Soil is Biobizz with Florian's Living Organics supersoil-stuff, which means I'll be adding water only, and there is a Blumat Maxi irrigation thingy on top. DIY light with 6 x 50w Chinese COB = 208w actual draw. Seems good so far, no problems at all, but she is a bit on the small side?

PS. I must have scoured a dozen 420 forums before settling my grow here. That tells you something about my appreciation of this community, although I'm the first to admit there are many fine forums on the subject.

Thanks @archie gemmill ! I have studied your micro grow threads, and I'll definitely be trying some micros later on. It just seems like a great way to try out breeds and soil mixes, not to mention a lot of fun.

I did read @TheMongol 's thread on FLO. I was able to google up very little information about Florian's, so Mongol's thread is like gold at this point... It seems nobody knows much about the stuff, but early results locally have been good, and it seems to be gaining popularity. I did try a mild mix with chilies earlier in the summer, with quite good results. Used the milder of the below mixes (1:30), in case anyone wants to give it a go.

For the record, my mix is as follows:
The bottom part is 6 liters of Biobizz Light + 0.8 liters of FLO.
On top sits a milder mixture, 3l Biobizz Light + 0.1l FLO.

I've made a bunch of rookie mistakes, including using a fresh soil mix (you are supposed to water 10%, cover with lid and let sit for at least a week) and having my light _way_ too close to the plant early on. The plant seems fine regardless, so I'd say this method of growing is idiot proof! :biggrin:
 
@TheMongol :pass:FLo grows were looking great,not a mark or blemish and so lush green :growing:had so much troubles and bad luck :wall: getting plants to end :frowny:
i looked up website :paleo:it seems a very good additive/mix/soil :thumbsup: for someone that does want to mix up nutes/top feed low maintenance ideal :smokeit:

Cheers Bong :pass: end product by Flo is sensational in smell and smoke, plants go through lush and powerful veg and of course super easy handle with water only.:thumbsup:

when showing plants here always under natural light to make seen the plant, in that purple we see knothing.:pighug:

Gaining height more than an inch a day, girth too. I'm starting to get cocky at this point, daring to hope I'll get an ounce. Stay tuned to watch it all go wrong! :biggrin:
