My autoflowers are at 60 days (they are 60-65 dayers), and are just starting to flower. Should I change the amount of light they are getting? My understanding of autoflowers is that it doesn't make any difference, but I just want to be sure. They are looking very healthy and full of those little thread thingys(!) and I am really excited at the prospect of my first harvest!

I did

Boy did it work
I had MDanzigSour 60s
Turned to 24/0 at 69 days

Wow!

Do what you feel best about

So, you turned the light hours up? I had always understood you were supposed to turn the light hours down. I am currently at 18 hours a day (I can't really do 24 hours because I have a tenant which the lighting impacts), so I guess I will have to stay there.

Hey Vape
You only need to turn the light hours down for photo period plants (veg 18/6 and flower 12/12)
For autoflowers the plant will flower at any given amount of time so no need to switch the lights to 12/12 to flower.
It's not recommended to do anything less than 18/6 for autoflowers as it will yield less. Keep it at 18/6 if you can

Is that a dwc system you're running?

Yes, that's a dwc system - I bought it from Ebay! It's working quite well.

I have a water heater so I don't have to worry about the ambient air temperature, and it is lit by a mixture of 4 4' fluorescent grow tubes and an LED grow light. I have a local hydroponics guy who has been quite helpful about getting me going properly.

Nice welcome to the site it's great to see another Canadian on the site
What strain is that?
Enjoy your stay and keep us updated

Hey vape. Autoflowers are light monsters, the more you give them the bigger they get. I did my first grow with 24 hour lighting. If You wanted to keep the same light schedule but wanted better lighting you could just buy a different lighting set up with more wattage.

Your plants look very healthy, but the buds seem so small. More lighting would definitely help them out.
