New Grower lighting height hps for 10 day olds

as the title says i read a fair bit about height i have a few 9 days old plants and 2 more 3 weeks aprox age just took from under a 125w cfl i now have them under my 600w hps dimmed down to 400w with my ballast im after anyone opinion on the height im in a 1.2x 1.2x 2.0 grow tent with a 4 inch extractor fan filter combo plus 4 inch intake for fresh air plus 3 clip on fans in my room ... this is my first coco grow

I would try around 24 to 28 inches and keep an eye on canopy temperature and the leaves response. If they look happy you can lower it incrementally...

sound thanks so much i read all about grown plant height but none about youngsters i will try that that do they all look ok by the pics pal

They look fine mate. They will need feeding from the start in Coco and may need Calcium Magnesium supplement as they progress..

yes im using calmag as im using the lucus formula so i was prepared for that as im in a soft water area can i keep this thread updated if i have any issues with pics and thanks so much

also at canopy level im at 78f but at top of room i am at 85f sometimes 87f but i thought heat rises so am i fine with that with it being my 1st grow i dont want it to mess up

I've had my canopy over 100f... They didn't like it... You will see the leaf edges curling up if they overheat..

just a little update from my garden im on day 66 on 2 sweet seeds in front and my others behind are 10 days behind them i will take some better pics when i harvest one soon as the 2nd pic is getting his flush i thinks hes a red poison sorry about sideways pics

On 400w u could put a small fan on the bulb and have it a foot away
