light schedules

Want to get peoples opinions on light schedules, at the moment I have lights on my autos 24/7.
Have read that this isn't good and have read that some do but wanted to know what you do?

Autos I like to run 20/4

If it's a mass built led light, I much prefer 24/7. With my Autocobs I'm running 19/5 and next run will be going back to 20/4. I have added a Spider Farmer SF 1000 and might try that around the clock next grow.

I run 18/6 now as it is the best yield to power setting. I have had a little better yield at 20/4 but the added watts were not offset by the difference in yield. 24/0 yielded no more than 20/4 and plants were sickly compared to 18/6.

Did you notice a shorter flowering time when doing 18/6 vs 20/4

Thanks for all your input guys,someone once told me that ALL plants need a dark period to rest but I have always done my autos on 24/7.
What seeds are you all growing? I started out years ago with northern lights and they were great apart from the fact they looked like xmas trees when they finished lol, now im trying the quick one and royal cheese (she stinks my house out).

I run 24/0 for 2-3weeks under T5, then 14/10 under cobs l. I choose my schedule to make use of night time temps...perhaps up the on a bit during winter.
At times I'll run a photo alongside the autos on 12/12 and am still happy with results.
