Indoor light schedules

im new to auto flowers and im just wondering can i grow autos on 18/6 and bud them 12/12 or are thay different? whats the best lighing schedule you have used for best results??

The auto in auto flowering means that they will flower under any light schedule. It is unnecessary to change to a 12/12 schedule like with photo sensitive plants. Most of us run our lights 20 hours on, 4 off. Some prefer 18/6 or even 24.0. All will work fine but I prefer to give mine a little rest, so run mine 20/4.
