Outdoor light period help!

hello everyone I was just seeing if anyone could give me good advice about outdoor light. this is my first post so i am a beginner, but I need to know how much light an auto really needs because I'm only able to get a max of 9 hours and then shade in my spot.

Hay Ryan welcome to AFN, I have recently grown a purple cheese auto on my window sill and it was getting a bit less direct sun than yours will be and it did great (30g yeald). Do you have a grow room? Autos do better outside if they germ and veg for a few weeks in a grow room.

nine hours of direct sunlight will do. that should give you some bud.

Autos will use any light they can get...how much will determine growth and eventually yeild....happy growing.

thank you all so much you've helped my worries go away unfortunately i do not own my house so the electricity bill would not be a good thing i am thinking of putting a cfl setup in my closet, but i want to get some more experience/ read a little more. they are both indica dominant so all the help i could get is greatly appreciated!
