This morning just before I left the tent I turned my oscolating fan on the high setting instead of low and I came back to leafs all pointed down at the tips and going by pics it seems to have stressed them out abit and the tips are pointing down,

How do I fix this now, any help would be much appreciated

More here is definitely needed... in the header you refference heat / light stress, but from the post the change is a fan on high...

Fill this out, and maybe a photo or 2, and we can take a look at what's going on.

Problem:

Medium/grow method:

Feed: and supplements used:

water source:

Strain/age:

light used:

Climate:

Additional info:

if it's just the fan set to high, it should be fine, keep it on low.

The fan was too high, I turned it down and raised the light a little to see u f this helps,
I'm on day 28ish and im using no nutes yet, only water.
I'm using soil and perilite.
600w hps,
mixed strains.

Will be using bio bizz bloom nutes soon.
Will get a pic

Some pics, thier recovering it seems

@The bear 88 What may have taken place is the increased air flow caused the plants to respire more water than normal. This would pull more nutrients into the plant and the leaf tips are showing a little bit of Nitrogen excess. I think they will be fine.

Thankyou @Mañ'O'Green they seem to be in curling a bit now, how would I fix the N excess, I haven't used and nutrients at all, just abit of Epson foilier spray, should I flush at the next watering in a day or so, and add ½ strength veg nutes

or just wait now untill flower begins and use bloom nutes,

Dont do anything you already fixed the issue. It is not a nutrient problem or at least it was not until you added the magnesium?

New growers constantly feed too much and often wrong. Why did you add a foliar of Magnesium? You should ony do that to correct an obvious deficiency. If you want to do a beneficial foliar just use Humic Acid and Kelp in a 5:2 ratio 5 parts Humic Acid and 2 parts Kelp.

Never feed your plant nutrients that are out of balance and feeding a single element is the definition of out of balance. This chart is not in EC it is in weight PPM. It is designed to give you the balance range for the elements in relation to each other. In order for a fertilizer to be in balance ALL of the elements must be present in the ranges displayed. It can be a really big range for many of them. Lets just look at the top 3 for example NPK 100,30,100 - 250,50,300 - 180,40,200 are all combinations that are in balance 50,50,300 is out of balance and can cause lock-outs.

I hope all of this makes sense and helps.

:toke:

They all started in solo cup/pots and I transplanted them all to larger pots, I used the spray as I read it helps with the stress of transplant,

I have maxi crop liquid seaweed but scared to use it as I read it leaches the N in the soil for a while before it works properly, but to be honest I don't have a clue about nutrients,

I was Gona skip veg nutes and just use the bio bizz bloom for flower,

Thankyou

Ok yes transplanting autos can stunt them based mostly on timing and B-vitamins can help with the shock. It should be given a few days before the transplant with your regular fertigation. The NPK Industries B-Vitamin is 99% magnesium as a carrier. I have asked Harley Smith why but I never got an answer. I will hit him up again with that question.

In all of my studies I have not come across the idea that Kelp leaches or performs any other chemical reaction to limit Nitrogen? The University of Virginia worked on a bio-stimulant project for ten years that did prove that a 5:2 ratio of Humic Acid to Kelp improved their performance by 50% each as compared to either one used alone.

There are some schools of thought (Lucas Formula for one) that all you need is Bloom nutrients but I don't agree with that. I believe in giving the plant the nutrients it needs for the growth phase it is in.

:goodluck: I would rather be lucky than good!
