When it comes to lighting i only use 2 and i have the exact same results either way. There may be a gram or 2 difference but that to me is not worth the worry.
I run 18/6 in the summer for heat reduction, and then 20/4 in the winter to keep them cozy.
Both have yielded greatly for me and i have had no issues either way.
the only thing i see from it is what TBM said cost savings but for me its not really worth it
there is a 24,000BTU AC unit in the room that is on a 220V circuit so that in the summer kills power
especially here in the humid muggy south
