Posted a couple of threads on here already, so thanks for everyone's advice so far.

I'm going to be running a Viparspectra 450 in a 3x3ft grow tent, with 3 Mephisto plants planned.

I ran the light yesterday with both veg and bloom switches (blue and red) on, and both fans on to replicate the conditions for the grow, which I hope to start next week. The recorded temperature was 26C / 79F. As it's pretty chilly here, I think this is as high as I can go without adding an extra heat source.

Will this temperature be OK for the grow? Also, should I go for veg and bloom for the whole life cycle from seedling to finished plant? This would at least keep the temperatures at 26C throughout, with the fans on, and has been suggested by a couple of people.

Cheers.

That should treat you just fine. When you had everything running, did that include your exhaust fan?

sounds like a good plan to me
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

79 degrees will be fine. I am an advocate for running a standard led light 24/7 at full spectrum. I did it for a lot of years before changing lights.

You can turn off the exhaust fan for the first week or two, that will help keep it warmer for the seedling stage. When I was using a vipar, I would use the veg switch until I seen preflowers, then flip both on.

Yes, I remember you saying.
So if I go full spectrum from seedling to harvest, being careful with the fans at the early stage, you think I should be ok?

So you don't bother with light and dark? You go full spectrum 24 hours per day from seedling on...
