Hi ....first time post and very curious about growing autos.

I have had experience with non-autos trying to find the earliest flowering traditional strains, only to have an early frost cut me short before full bud development.

A couple questions...

1) Has the auto assasin(shortstuff) been crossed back enough generations to give a fairly reliable thc level and still retain the autoflowering trait?

2) Will seeds produced from a male and female assasin strain have fairly consistent characteristics?

3) Is it possible to add in a sativa at some later date...I know it will produce a variety of auto and non-auto plants...and would you use a male or female assasin to start this hybrid?

Thanks

Hey there heinz, welcome to the forum. :bong:

1>>> To my knowledge, yes, very much so. Basically most all of the strains that are sold at reputable sites are good to go.

Here at AFN we have our own breeders and seed store. Look for the tab up top.

2>>>Seeds from mating two AA will have similar characteristics overall, but will differ depending on the two phenotypes that you use. They will Autoflower 100% though. Just as much as the original. Maybe it's 99%, whatever, same difference.

3>>>Yes you can always add in whatever strain that you want, you just have to do it in the right way to keep whatever characteristics that you want to have in the end seed. Breeding is a whole 'nother convo though, I suggest searching around here as there is a TON of info already here for you. As far as using male or female of AA to start that is one breeding question I am still waiting for the answer to.

Hope this helped. Good luck.
