Prologue,:jointman:
I am back, again... So this time i will stick around and complete a grow journal and earn some cool badges, i also hope i can share some information that will be valuable to new and experienced cultivators.

So I started growing cannabis about 5 years ago, completing 2-3 grows a year. My hobby soon became a passion, and ever since i was diagnosed with epilepsy i had even more reason to grow. With all that being said, i committed a lot of time, energy & money into cultivating cannabis, heck i even went broke buying gear for my grow room!, my dedication to this passion is extreme but i feel like its the right thing to do with my life, Maybe within these coming years i will own a successful business and make a living supplying medical cannabis to others like myself.

Getting started, (Section [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]:The Chamber)
My chamber (Grow room) is about 7ftx7ftx8ft(tall) its not big, but it can sustain 6-7 plants with one 600w Hps/MH lamp & additional 200w LED for the final month of flowering. The chamber has been engineered to create a negative pressure to maintain full control over air entering and exiting the room making temperature control efficient & easy. the room contains two extraction fans and one intake fan with a passive intake to replenish Co2 and bring in fresh air. all electrical components are located outside of the room high above the floor to reduce the risk of contact with water/moisture. Having your Ballast and other electrical components located outside your room is a great way to reduce excess heat! and makes for a clean organized room, one thing i hate more then hermies is a room full of extension cords laying around. i also have a little closet that was previously built into the room i use to store my stuff, i suggest you create a space in or out of your room for you're gear and other growing tools, being clean and organized is a essential to a successful grow. My room is lined with 98% reflective mylar ( the really thin stuff) over the years i have used the 2mil black and white polly but i wanted every inch of light being utilized. So i have went over the basics of my chamber, i will have a list of things i have and some pictures for a visual explanation
The list,
(1) 6" Axial extraction fan /w carbon scrubber
(2) 4" Axial fans for intake
(1) 4" Centrifugal fan for direct heat extraction
(1) 600w Metal halide & High-pressure-sodium full spectrum bulb(s) /w a digital ballast
(1) LED light
(1 roll) of 98% reflective Mylar
(1) Tower fan
(2) humidifiers
(3) extension cords /w a 8 outlet extension cord
(1) Indoor thermometer

This is my first page of many to come, please let me know what you think of my setup, if you have any suggestions or constructive criticism or you just want to chat feel free to reply. i know its a bit extensive but it gives me something too do for the time being :smoker1: i hope start growing at the beginning of the new year i will be doing dutch passions Blueberry, Mazar and night queen, so i am pretty excited! the seeds have already been ordered and i have been lucky enough to obtain a camera!
