Hello everyone!

Apologies if this has been asked before but my search isn't working great from the app.

Growing autos in a 4.5x4.5 tent and looking at quantum boards like the HLG or similar from China...

What colour temperature is best for one single light start to finish - 3000k, 3500k, 4000k, and with or without the 660nm.

I am leaning towards the 480/550 v2 four board in straight 3500k.

Thanks everyone

I've been studying and looking around alot myself as I was making a purchasing decision myself. I don't think there is much of a consensus as each has benefits/drawbacks but seems most opinions I ran across would say the 3 or the 3.5 as a safe pick. As far as the 660s most people I saw talking about or using 'em like having the extra reds but some prefer using specific supplemental strips and others like the simplicity of them being on the QB. I ended up going with 3k with 660s for the extra flowering kick but know it will also lead to some extra stretch. Wish I could give you a personal experience or more definitive answer but that's been my impression from the last few days of reading.

Thanks so much for the response bro!

I think I've made up my mind and will be going with 3500k+660nm, as below!

I forgot, I actually ordered 5 x 3ft LED 2800-3500k And 5 x 3ft LED 4000-4500k battens, each at 30w.

Tempted to install them all onto a custom board in series, giving me 300w, spread over 900x1200mm, with 2800-4500k spectrum range!

Just need to speak to my electrician today haha

Nice would love to hear how that works out for you. I got my 240w "QB288" Kingbrite 3k + 660 kit last week (approx. 6 days from order to US) only thing I had to do was plug in wago's. Was expecting to have to at least tin the wires but already done. Pulls 218w full open according to killawatt so pretty sure I'll order a second one with the same setup to fill out my 4x4.

Awesome mate! Let me know of you have any dramas - have heard mixed reviews and feedback, wish I just hit the bullet and ordered it straight up so I was ready!
