Hi

About to start my first indoor grow in 10 days time.

Ran the system for the first time yesterday - grow tent, filter and exhaust, oscillating fan and Viparspectra 450 on veg mode (blue). After 2 hours I took the temperature, 23 Celcius / 73% fahrenheit. Will this be adequate for the 2-3 week seedling / vegetative stage?

Once this phase is complete I'll be using the bloom switch (red) and veg mode (blue) together , which should (I haven't tried yet) raise the temperature another 2-3 degrees.

Do these temps sound OK for a small indoor grow with Mephisto autos, Orange Deisel and Northern Cheese Haze? I'll be using airpots and Biobizz soils.

Thanks for your comments / advice.

For the first week or two, turn down/off your exhaust fan and that will keep the temps and humidity up, which is seedlings want!

My exhaust has to be either on or off, so will follow your advice and leave off initially. A couple of people have said this.
Would you use the oscillating fan straight away or wait with that too?

I let them get above ground for a couple days, then turn it on so it’s just lightly blowing over them.

Cheers. Would you agree with Garage Grower about being careful with the fans for the first week or two?

yes deffo my friend you don't want a big wind hitting them when they are so tiny you have to build them up as they go so be gentle on your little newborns

Great. Thanks for the advice.
Just hope I get that far!
You will! I was in your exact situation a month ago with 1000 questions and triple checking everything!:smoking:
A month later and i just got home from work and started removing some fan leaves like if i've been doing it forever!
Have fun and don't overthink it.
It's only weed!:woohoo:
Good luck!

For years before changing to Autocobs and quantum boards, I always ran my mass built led lights in full spectrum from the start and ran the lights around the clock. Those grows were quicker with and yielded a little more. Something to think about.

73 is low for veg. Best you find a way to increase temp. I don't use my clip on fans for the first week or two and my inline fan runs at about 50%.
