First grow question on lights
I am using a1000 watt led light in a 3x3 tent
My plants are 15 days old and seem to be doing well about 6 inches high with 4 sets of leaves
I am running both veg and flower lights simultaneously on an 18/6 schedule
Should use the approach from now to finish
Or change at some point
Thank you

That's what I do and hasn't failed me yet
Thank you for your feedback
Just trying not to screw it up
Any thoughts on how close the lights should be?
As we speak they are about 18 inches
I have been slowly bring the light down from 24 to 18 just don’t want to burn the plants

Just keep an eye on your plants. 16-18 inches is a decent range. Light stress is a real thing.

Last grow I tried to keep my lights (2 400w hid's and a Mars hydro tsw2000) as close as I could get and that was around 18". This grow they are a bit more than 2' and the plants are growing short and bushy. I top, LST and scrog which helps get light down through out the plants.

I found recommend lighting distance for cannopy your reference:

Seedling: 30'' Germination: 24''-30'' Veg: 18''-24'' Flower: 12''-18''

Over feeding plants with too much light causes a series of issues.
The plant tries processing photosynthesis even more, which leads to a phosphorus def'c.
So either raise the lights, of feed more P.
Its a balancing act...:vibe:

Thanks for all the feedback it is very helpful
Last question on lighting
Using my iPhone lux meter I have a 55k Liz reading at the canopy level
Will this work for 2 plants that are in 3 gallon pots or do I need more light for flowering

@Rightwing
The problem with lux is that, its about visible light by humans and not about what the plant needs.
I recommend you do a little research on Google on PPFD or PAR.
Cheers
GC
