Am i the only one ?
My trichs are always milky with some amber, yet my leaves stay green.
Maybe my well water or what but they never turn yellow.
I dont want solid amber trichs.
Every where i read- wait for yellow, this is my 4th harvest and my leaves never turn yellow.
Will be chopping friday again and leaves still green.
Just curious or im doing something wrong but my erb is always good.
Look at some of my pics in my threads, just bugged by this.
Will feel alot better if others have this problem.
Stupid question i know but driving me crazy trying to fiqure this out.
Thanks for your replys in advance.

If you leave them a bit longer on plain water (cleansing) the leaves should turn yellow to brown as a result of having no nutrients (especially nitrogen) to eat - the plant will eat whats left (stored) in the leaves changing them to an autumn colour.

Hope this helps :)

  • Don't worry about the leaves turning yellow.Go by your trychome color because some plants just wont turn yellow.I have been growing for years now and only had a couple turn yellow. Also there are some strains that don't show amber try's

Ok,thanks for the info guys.
I always check my trichs, just bothers me that they dont turn yellow.
This last grow im doing, they snuck up on me.
Fiqured another couple weeks but checked trichs and sure enough theyre milky with spotty amber as of last thursday.
So been running just water this week and lights out as of this morning till friday chop.

Hey Oldcoot! lol......kind of funny as I have done 2 grows now, 8 plants. ALL of their leaves have turned yellow and I have been wondering what it is that I'm doing wrong as my leaves wont stay green.

How old are your girls? My leaves usually start turning at about 5-6 weeks.

Good Luck!

This plant is about 75 days now.
My last grow was 16 weeks and still no yellow.
Im wondering if my well water has something to do with it.

You know, my source of water is what I've been thinking as well. I have been using tap water which I let sit out for at least 24 hours. I know my water is very hard and wondering if the calcium or something else has something to do with it. I'm also thinking that perhaps it has to do with the PPM but that isn't anything that I've done much research in. I think for my next grow I'm going to experiment a little bit and do a couple girls with tap water and the other 2 will get distilled. Should be interesting.

If your tap water is too much for them get some Canna Flush Flushing agent. This stuf sucks out all the nutes of the Medium and cleanse it properly. I also Noticed that i have a better result when i cleanse them with Phd 6.0 water. At least this runs since Ages(Coco and Soil) so i thought stick to it.

I was having the same situation. I started checking the ppm of the runoff from the cleansing and would continue the cleansing flush until my ppm drops to about 400 - 500 ppm. Once I've flushed to this level, I feed only pHed water and usually have yellowing leaves within a week. I think that we push our girls so hard with nutes throughout the grow that we think we are cleansing, but there is so much residual in the soil that the plant never yellows because the plant requires so little nutes at this stage, it continues to get adequate nutes from the soil, hence does not utilize the stored nutrients in the plant creating the yellowing of the leaves. This is how I do it. Hope this helps.:pass:
