as i only feed once a week i guess the other 2/3 times i water that could be considered a "flush" never really bothered getting too finecky about this stuff, you can micromanage your life away. Stick it in a big pot, feed it, let it grow. i dont have a PH meter, or humidity meter i dont use any expensive nutes POUNDLAND tomato feed FTW, but i do use good b and q compost and lots of perlite. Personally i go for less is more if they look hungry feed em but otherwise leave the fukers alone!

My soil has never been flushed or leached. I don't have drain holes. I use cheap organics and don't own a ph pen. I am satisfied with my grows...Oh yea..my dirt is about 7 years old or more.....
