Hello all and welcome to my grow journal!

Let's get the basics out the way quick...
Fusion grow tent - 3 X 3 X 6,5
Custom Horticultural Ceramic Metal Halide lamp
2 gallon Hempy buckets
Small fan blowing on lamp ballast to keep it cool
Stealth F6 exhaust fan with speed controller, attached to light timer
Nutes are Osmocote Plus added in layers in the Hempy buckets
FloraGro will be added at 1ml/L till roots hit res
Watering will be with R.O. water ph'd to 6.0

Strains chosen for this grow are:
Auto Trainwreck - Had some issues with germination so it is a week behind the others...
Auto Blackberry Kush
Auto Bomb Berry
Purple Mazar

Lights are on a 18 on, 6 off schedule.

Seeds dropped in water on the 7th of October 2016.
Then for some reason i placed them directly into peat cubes...:cuss: I ALWAYS do the paper towel method and skipped it this time for some reason. This is the reason the Trainwreck is a week behind....
Either way on the 9th of October the Blackberry and Mazar were just breaking the surface of the peat cubes!
On the 10th the Berry Bomb broke the surface of the cube.
I use a seedling heat mat for germination and a humidity dome, so the peat cubes with their precious inhabitants were transferred to their new home. They also have a CFL providing light.

Later on the 10th i placed the 3 that had sprouted into small pots with a soil/perlite mix with perlite on the bottom, about a 1/2 inch or so. They are then placed into a deepish tub with water in the bottom, kind of like mini Hempy i guess. Cling wrap on top and the CFL for a few more days.
I moved them into the tent when their first set of leaves were nice and big, no more cover on top.

On the 11th i checked the Trainwreck seed and it had rotted in the peat cube...
Sprouted some more the correct way and chose the strongest one to be moved into the peat cube routine.

Seedlings are doing great under the light with no stress at all!

On the 15th the Trainwreck sprouted and went through the peat pellet process again...
On the 16th it was transplanted into a small pot with the soil/perlite mix.

On the 22nd of October, TODAY, they were all transferred to their final Hempy Bucket!
I let them dry out a bit and buried the stems and the soil core in the Hempy bucket.
Watered with ph'd water with 1ml/l of FloraGro.

So that brings us all up to date!
Next post will be some pics of the material, equipment and the girls in the tent!

Any thoughts, comments, help etc will be awesome!
Great to be back again!

Pic of the girls in their new homes, taken about 30 minutes after transplanting!

Quick update from this morning!
All the girls look very healthy and happy and show no signs of stress from transplanting!
Will be posting weekly updates to show progress or sooner if anything interesting happens.

Looking great! Cant wait to see how the hempy buckets grow for you.

Gave the girls a feeding of R.O water, Silica and some FlroaGro.
Everyone seems to be happy and really perky under the CMH.
So far so good and i really like the simplicity of the hempy bucket!

And then i go and start researching aeroponics....

Going to hit the Herbalizer again and ponder this conundrum....

@Nicker32 is a master of the hempy buckets. He can help you with pointers. He travels for work so i am not sure if he is around today.
Has some beautiful mephisto that he has grown in the hempys

I'm subbed up. I should be around if you have questions. Have you grown in Hempy Buckets before? I see you want to work your way to photoperiod plants. Not saying you are doing anything wrong but photoperiods would be easier to dial in than auto's. More room for error. Just my opinion though. Glad to see another Hempy grower!!

@Nicker32

I have done photo's before and this is not the first time i have done autoflowers.
First time in a Hempy bucket though!

My idea with this is to test the set up of the tent, light etc.
If everything works well i want to try some older photo seeds i have again, Killing Fields and Sannie's Jack, good quality genetics.

I will post up some pics of earlier grow as soon as photobucket sorts itself out!
