Hi, so I need some advice on what strain and seed bank to go with. My goal is to reach 1LB + per auto under 1000w Lights with a decent flower time 9-10 weeks from germ. I was debating on critical mass auto from canuk or if someone knows a good meph strain that can achieve this that would be awesome too. Any advice is appreciated thanks!

i personally don't see it happenin without sum kinda radioactive interference from space, but otherz may have diff opinionz & i'm interested to see how that workz out for ya

Really? I hear alot of people around my parts get around that, I was just curious which strain is generally the highest yielder from genetics

In the right setting and environment, Hubbabubba Haze might do it. It could easily fill a 3x3 alone.
Personally I grow by sq ft, as many as is needed to fill the space under the light. Only issue might be plant count. But I've never been much for rules.

I don't think your gonna get a single auto to fill the 5x5 to your liking. Especially in less than 70 days. Fast strains tend to lean to the small to medium sized girls. L &XL girls can go 100 to 110 days. ( have seen some run longer).
Have had a couple hit on time (sour crack) but most autos I've run go 75 to 90 days.

I personally think those yeilds are possible but not in a 9/10 week timeframe.
Most if not all of the heavy yeilding strains i know of take 12 weeks+
There are a fair few 1 pound auto grows documented here on AFN ( and even a legendary 1kilo auto grow) but they are few and far between.
Also if pure yeild is your goal there are much more efficient ways to acheive it.
1 pound under 1000w is under 0.5 gram per watt. Your also putting all your eggs in one basket so to speak.
If you any issues with that 1 plant you miss your target.
My current grow is in roughly a 4x4 space running 4 plants in a hydro recirculated drip system under 240w of quantum board style lights.
I expect to harvest 25+oz thats about 1.5lb
Just food for thought my friend!

Dutch passion
auto ultimate, auto extreme, mazar, blueberry
Dinafem
Cheese xxl ,white widow xxl ,bubba kush ,critical jack , blue cheese
Mephisto genetics

He's under HPS, .6 to .8 gpw is gonna be a good run.
Ditto on all the choices.
Might also think about the weed needed. Large girls will have a lot of Haze and sativa, smaller girls tend to be more indica. 9 gold glues would fill it 80/20 indica.
If your looking for single plant grows to simplify yet still fill the tent, photos is gonna be your option.

A 1000w hps will be drawing just over 1100w at the wall with ballast wastage.
But you are right for sure. 4 big strains or 9 medium/smaller strains to really fill a 5x5 unless going photoperiod.
