Seed Bank kannabia seed company?

I haven't tried any of their strains but I have heard of them, Funny that they have a starin called Flash and a Gnomo beause flash is stitches...

They say that 12/12 or 14/8 is optimal for their big autos, I wonder if they'll flower and finish under 20/4 or 24/0?
I guess thats why they call them Self-flowering instead of autoflowering...

thats what im sayin! and they say their yields are high but i dont see anything on their website that leads me to believe they have "huge" yielding strains

The cool thing about their second gen autos is you can keep them in veg and clone them, but at any time of the year when you put them out they'll start flowering immediately. At least that's my plan with La Blanca and Mataro Blue for this summer.

does that go for kannabia afrodite too? I have one fem seed of that... been delaying putting it in cuz I'm unsure of it...

They classify their Flash & Gnomo as 1st generation autoflowering seeds,...
The rest of their strains are classified as Self-Flowering strains, You know these are useless to me because hell I can buy Super auto seeds that have been proven to yield high and flower under 24/0... To me all of their strains are just photo strains...

Here is their information for AFRODITE
Our most advanced genetics applied to rudelaris. For this variety we selected a host rudelaris looking for optimal height and lower branch growth. In all the tests we have done, the production of “crystals” has been massive right from the beginning of flowering.

It grows very vigorously and has proved to be a variety with relatively high psychoactivity.

Afrodite gives a bigger final yield, higher psychoactivity, and more compact buds.

The cross also gives flavour to Jack Herer, reminiscent of incense and bitter lemon. The aroma has shades of liquorice and a slight touch of Haze when you lightly rub the surface of the stem. This cross reaches only medium height, not above 70 cm when grown indoors. The lower part of the plant branches well for extra yield (the yield is 20-25 grams per plant). This variety has sativa as its main component. The buds are long, compact and resinous. The psychoactivity achieved is quite high, and the excitation typical of sativa can be noted. Some phenotypes may reach a height of 85 cm outdoors, producing well-sized, fairly compact buds, with an average weight of 40-65 grams.

From seed, the indoor cycle with a photoperiod of 12/12 or 14/10 is 8-9 weeks for optimal ripen-ing.

Outdoor flowering cycle: 3 months. Planting in early spring recommended.

Also.. gotta rol with NC on this... I can have autos for auto... and photos for photo... in between is kinday weird.. not sure it really serves either purpose very well... I can see the benfit of being able to hold veg with 24 hr light... but also means you are susceptible to ANY power failure... and they definetly happen!

Well, either way they still finish in 3 months, regardless of time of the year.

These autos are developed because you can have a sativa somewhere above 20 N. Not for indoor.

Same with the other super auto strains. Not at all meant for indoor growing because a photo would be easier to manage. However, you can have sativa buds if they start flowering in may if you live in Canada. That is the real beauty of these type of plants. Have you ever heard of Dr. Greenthumb's (i think) Iranian Autoflower? This is an extended veg autoflower (though indica) that is very similar to these kannabia seeds. I guess you can keep it in veg indefinitely but as soon as it goes outside it flowers, even in the spring. How do you guys not see the greatness behind this?

I believe what we're finding lately with these new crossings with sativas is that the autoflower gene shows incomplete dominance with the sativa photoperiod gene. They are both the same part of the gene, same part of the chromosome, but slightly different copies of the same basic stuff called alleles. These alleles, rather than being dominant or recessive, interact with eachother to a varying degree to produce an effect somewhere in the middle. Here is a pic of flowers showing incomplete dominance. With normal, complete dominance, the flowers would either be white or red, but no mixture. http://faculty.irsc.edu/FACULTY/TFischer/images/incomplete%20dominance.jpg

good idea john! i plan on crossing my beans from them with my short rider x fast bud f1 pollen.
